Naina

Naina is a remake of Hong Kong film The Eye. Urmila Matondkar played the lead role in this movie. After Ram Gopal Varma‘s Bhoot, once again Urmila gave a really good performance in this movie. The movie is about her new eyes.

Naina who is a resident of London loses her eye sight in a small accident. After many years she takes an eye operation. She feels very happy to see the world with her new eyes.

She starts surviving like all other people. But one day her eyes shows her some super natural things, which are not happening there. She is scared of these types of visions and starts the research to find the truth behind this.

Akshay Kumar‘s 8×10 Tasveer also mostly copied from this concept. Saleem Merchant and Suleman Merchant gave very good music to this film.

Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne

Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne was Bollywood movie in 2003 starring Esha Deol and Zayed Khan in lead roles. This movie was remake for Hollywood movie Charade (1963). Zayed Khan made his debut with this movie only.He has appeared in the role which has different shades. No one takes such a risk in the first movie only. Rakhi Sawant appeared in a negative role. Sangeet Sivan was the director for this crime thriller.

Tina ( Esha Deol) who is in her vacation in Goa receives a call about her uncle death. She goes to Bangkok to complete her uncle’s funeral. There she comes to know about her uncles Gold Heist.

Three notorious criminals Om (Gulshan Grover), Sheena ( Rakhi Sawant) and Chingaar (Vijay Raj) escapes from prison. They catches Tina and starts harassing her for the gold.

Vijay ( Zayed Khan) who became close friend to her in Goa helps to her to escape from her problems. Why he helped to her, and who is he actually is the remaining story.

Waqt: The Race Against Time

Waqt: The Race Against Time was a Bollywood movie in 2005 starring Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar in lead roles. The plot of this film has similarities with Japan movie Ikiru (1952). Vipul Shah is the director to this family entertainer.

Aditya Thakur (Akshay Kumar) is a careless guy enjoys his life without taking any responsibilities. His parents Ishwarchand ( Amitabh Bachchan) and Sumitra (Shefali Shah) wants their so to become a responsible about their toys business.

Road

Road was movie from Ram Gopal Varma starring Vivek Oberoi and Manoj Bajpai in lead roles. It was strongly inspired by a Hollywood flick Duel (1971).

Aravind (Vivek Oberoi) and Lakshmi (Antara Mali) are deep love escapes from Delhi to marry in Jodhpur. A truck driver Babu ( Manoj Bajpai) helps them by giving lift. But later irritates them with his behavior. He throws Aravind out and escapes with Lakshmi.

With help of another truck driver Inderpal (Makarand Deshpande), Aravind catches Babu and protects Lakshmi. But later again Babu catches this couple. How they over come all the problems which they faces in their journey is the remaining story.

Chachi 420

Padma Sree Kamal Haasan, who is always ready to act in different movies, was inspired by the Hollywood flick Mrs Doubtfire. And directed a film called Chachi 420 with that concept. According to the story the  hero will be in lady getup and behaves like an old woman in the major part of the movie. Kamal made this movie in comic genre and achieved success.

Jai (Kamal Hasan) is a middle class person who falls in love with Janki (Tabu). They both will marry against to the wishes of Janki’s father Bharadwaj (Amrish Puri). By birth Janki is rich and she is not able to adjust with simple middle class life with Jai. Unsatisified Janki takes divorce and goes to her father. According to the court judgement Jai can visit their daughter Bharti only on Friday. Jai wants to spend all his time with his daughter. He attempts to steal her. This stops his Friday visit also.

With the help of a make up man Joseph  (Johnny Walker) he changes his getup with the name Laxmi, enters into Bharadwaj house as care taker to Bharti after a little drama. He saves Bharadwaj’s life when he suffers with heart pain. In the get up, he wins all the hearts of the people in that house. Bharadwaj starts liking Laxmi. Another person Haribahi, Jai’s boss is also attracted towards Laxmi. He manages all these and reveals the truth and finally wins Janki’s heart.

Every movement in the movie makes people laugh. Kamal Hasan’s acting is really super. Tabu played a key role but her character features very less time on the screen. Amrish Puri and Om Puri in their characters did very well. Michael Westmoore gave the lady getup make to Kamal. Kamal made this film in Tamil also. Meena played the lead role which Tabu played in the Hindi version.

Karzzz

Karzzz was remake for Subhash Ghai’s Karz. Story was based on reincarnation. Himesh Reshammiya and Urmila matondkar played the lead roles in this movie. Sathish Kaushik was the director for this movie.

Ravi Verma (Dino MOrea) who own the leagal case on Sir Judah (Gulshan Grover) receives thousands acres of wine yards. In that happy occasion he marries his lover Kamini(Urmila Matondkar). Next day when he plans to visit his mother and sister. Before visiting them he tries to show some feets with his flight to Kamini. But he dies in the crash, actually it was Kamini’s plan. She throws his mother and sister out and becomes the princess Kamini.

25 years later Monty (Himesh Reshammiya) a singer suffers with some visuals. One day when he is in flighht reminds every thing, cmoe to conclusion that is, he is the reincarnation of Ravi Verma. To find his sister and mother he meets Kamini. He notices the real identity of Kaminey and takes revange on her.

Daraar

Daraar was Bollywood movie from Abbas -Mustan duo. Juhi Chawla gave one her career best performance in this movie. Arbaaz Khan was nominated to Filmfare best villain award. Rishi Kapoor played the lead role.

Priya (Juhi Chawla) who married newly, escapes from her husband Vikram (Arbaaz Khan) because of his behaviour. He goes to Shimla and meets Malhotra (Rishi Kapoor). Malhotra falls in love with Priya. Priya’s mother suggests to her to say every thing of her past to Malhotra. She writes a letter to Malhotra.

But he gets that letter after long gap because of Hari (Johnny Lever). Malhotra agrees to marry Priya. By the time of there marriage, Vikram reaches that place and beats Malhotra and sends him to prison. He goes to kill Priya.

This movie was remake for Julia Roberts movie Sleeping With Enemy. Sushma Seth has appeared as Rishi Kapoor’s mother in this movie.This movies produced by EROS internationals banner.

Bumm Bumm Bole

Bumm Bumm Bole is the upcoming movie of Priyadarshan. Its remake to Irani movie called Children Of Heaven. Children Of Heaven was nominated to the Oscar Award in 1997. Darsheel Safari fame of Taare Zameen Par has played the lead role.

Khogiram (Atul Kulkarni) who is a daily labour lives in a terrorist effected area. He has wife (Rituparn Sen Gupta), a son Pinu (Darsheel Safari) and Rim Zim (Piya) They are fully irritated because of the situations around them. Khogiram decides to give good life to his children by sending them to school which he missed in his childhood.

But the his financial status troubles children. One day because of Pinu, Rim Zim losses her shoes. Brother and sister are in fear about the shoes, because teachers won’t allow into the school without shoes. What is the solution they find to hide that from their father and how they managed from the teachers is the rest of story.

Darsheel Safari is the major attraction to this film. He should pull the crowds to theaters with the image which he got with Taare Zameen Par.

Chatur Singh Two Star

Chatur Singh Two Star is the upcoming comedy movie. Sanjay Dutt and Ameesha Patel are the lead cast to this film. Its remake to the Hollywood super hit movie The Pink Panther. This movie is going to hit the theaters in 2010.

Its a romantic comedy directed Ajay Chandok. Satish Kaushik, Gulshan Grover, Shakti Kapoor and Murali Sharma are the lead cast to this film. Most of the movie was shot in Cape Town and Mumbai.

Chatur Singh (Sanjay Dutt) is police in Mumbai. He want to prve himself as very good police officer. But every time he becomes a fool while dealing the cases. He takes it as a challenge and flies to South Africa to deal case. He decides that, at any case he has to solve the case. What are the challenges he has faced and he reached his target or not is the story.

Kaaka Kaaka

Kaaka Kaaka was a Block Buster in Kollywood. Surya who has played the lead role in Tamil Ghajini was hero in this movie. He has acted as police officer in this movie. Story revolves around the police encounters only.

Gautham Menon is the director to this movie. He has plans to make this movie in Bollywood earlier. But due to his other projects he doesn’t did it. But now the Bollywood heroes eyes are in this movie. Ajay Devgan, Salman Khan and John Abraham are fighting to get the rights of this movie.

Already this heroes approached Gautham. Gautham Menon only directs the Hindi version also. But who acts as hero in this thriller is the million dollar question.
